The Artist

Viveka Biondic

Viveka Biondic – Is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, performance, photography, and installation. Her practice explores the emotional architecture of womanhood, resilience, and transformation, weaving together personal mythology, symbolic gesture, and poetic ritual. Rooted in vulnerability yet driven by strength, her works turn fractures into luminous traces and silence into presence.

Her projects often expand beyond a single medium, unfolding as immersive narratives that invite audiences to witness rupture, healing, and renewal. From reimagining garments as portraits of female power to transforming acts of breaking into golden webs of resilience, Biondic creates art that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Each work becomes not just an object but a lived process—a visual language of endurance, tenderness, and becoming.

“Her installation The Women and works from The Dress didn’t just speak—they moved people. Through minimal yet powerful gestures, she created space for reflection, for feeling, for remembering what it means to be seen as a woman and as a creator. Her work brought a vital pulse to the project, and her presence elevated the entire collaboration.”
— Ixchel Castellón Piedras, Director General, Colectivo Oaxaca Cultural A.C
