Kintsugi-Broken is Beautiful
This series is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, where broken ceramics are repaired with gold. In this series, the cracks become metaphors for emotional wounds and their healing.
The project first unfolded in a dual-space exhibition: one side showing the technical process and abstract representation of breaking and mending , the other delving into the emotional landscapes of pain, vulnerability, and recovery. Exploring the tension between destruction and renewal.
By highlighting scars instead of hiding them, Kintsugi redefines brokenness not as failure but as beauty. The works become a meditation on fragility and resilience—how wounds can transform into sources of strength.
